Serviced to perfection, this amazing Tudor Prince Oyster Date is a legitimate Snowflake Submariner with possible MilSpec provenance.. the case back tells us the history of it being worn on a NATO has ingrained itself on the case back after years of it being worn on a NATO strap, the case back will always see a design as you see it on the case back. The watch was received here at PTC with a very heavy condensation, and due to this, there is a bubbling effect on the black dial, models like the 7021/0 are very seriously affected by moisture, and despite everyone's best intentions, the dial produced in Switzerland by BEYELER at this time, were prone to that bubbling effects. It is not flaking, and is very clean, as you also see from the picture I have taken when the dial was removed, the movement's roulette wheel date were also visible. Since then, it has been lovingly brought back to life, using the best Swiss watchmaking techniques I have learned throughout my career. A fabulous +/- 10 seconds per day can be expected with this super rugged look on this time piece. The watch is presented in as is, as found, and no polishing of any kind has been undertaken on this watch. I believe that it was never attempted at.
This is the reason that, when you see this watch, a lot of angle pictures will tell you that the watch is untouched, it is rough, and yes it looks hammered, but never polished.
The insert on it, has turned bluish from the 1970s and shows a lot of use. Everything in collecting Submariners are ticked boxes on this unique Tudor Submariner, it sure is a collector's delight. Own a watch like this, and it is a racing car on your wrist, it is a survivor, and it will surely survive a further 50 years - watch upkeep is a must, if you wish to keep maintaining a Submariner of this quality and verve, please maintain it by servicing it every 5-7 years. An authentic "TOP HAT" crystal reference #125 was used on this very important watch.
More pics are available on request. Serial # 74xxxx dates from IV.70 or 4th quarter of 1970. I would like to point out, there might have been a bracelet on this watch, as very clearly the bracelets' end pieces have made marks underneath the lugs of this Submariner. Another Tudor bracelet reference 9315 can be sourced, if you desire one with this time piece, please allow for a week or so to source one.

Size guide for wristbands

1 | Lug width

The lug width is the width of the strap at the end that is attached to the watch. This is the interior distance between the two lugs (horn-like protrusions) on the watch casing. The strap will fit your watch only if the lug width of the watch is the same width as the strap.

2 | Buckle width

The buckle width is the width of the strap at the buckle end. If you want to keep your watch’s original buckle and replace only the strap, the width of the original buckle must be identical to the strap width. For watches with folding clasps, please choose a strap specially made for your particular clasp.

3 | Strap length

The strap length is the combined length of the short strap side 3A (without buckle) and the long strap side 3B. For metal straps, the length of the strap including the clasp is measured in the closed position.

4 | Strap thickness

Strap thickness is the height of the strap. Many leather straps thin out towards the buckle end, or “taper”. If you want to keep your watch’s original buckle and replace only the strap, the strap thickness must match the height of the original buckle. For watches with folding clasps, please choose a strap specially made for your particular clasp.
