Oris Big Crown ProPilot Timer GMT Automatic Stainless Steel Black Dial Date Mens Watch Model# 748 7756 4064-MB / 01 748 7756 4064-07 8 22 08Offering function-based design at its most successful, the Big Crown ProPilot collection is full of pioneering timepieces aimed at pilots who value its cockpit-ready functionality and aesthetic. It features a 44 mm multi-piece stainless steel case that holds a matte black dial under a double-domed sapphire crystal. The dial has white and luminescent Arabic numerals as hour markers and silver-tone obelisk-style hands and a date window at the 3 o'clock position adjacent to its signature big crown. This watch has an angled coin-edge bi-directional rotating bezel that resembles a jet engine's turbine. Similar design cues are evident on the caseback and screw-down crown. A mix of white and red elements gives a much-needed contrast highlighting the dial texts, minute markers, 24-hour flange markers, GMT hand, and sub-seconds register at the 9 o'clock position. The multi-piece stainless steel bracelet has a folding clasp that resembles an aircraft seatbelt. This watch has a screw-down exhibition caseback showcasing the Oris 748, a Swiss automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve and is water-resistant up to 100 meters/330 feet.Like all of our watches, this Oris Big Crown ProPilot Timer GMT Automatic Stainless Steel Black Dial Date Mens Watch is brand new and comes in its original packaging.Oris was founded by Paul Cattin and Georges Christian in the Swiss town of Hölstein.
