Description

The first known Patek Philippe perpetual calendar wrist watch was first made in 1925. The perpetual calendar came in to regular production in 1941 with the reference 1526. Since that time, the essential gentleman's grand complication has worn many different guises.

This particular model is the ref 5139. The case is based around the "Calatrava" style with hobnail engraved bezel and on this version is made in 18ct white gold with a sapphire crystal glass exhibition case back. Held on a genuine black alligator strap with matching white gold pin buckle. Fitted with the highly complicated and decorated Manufacture calibre 240 Q, ultra slim mechanical self-winding movement with Perpetual Calendar, day, date, month, leapyear and moon phase in apertures on dial. The dial is black laquered with applied gold markers and transferred detailing. Finished with a sapphire crystal glass.

The timepiece is pre-owned and offered in single sealed factory condition. New/old stock.

Box and full documentation included.

Insured shipping within the Continental United States provided.

TEXAS SALES TAX WILL BE ADDED TO PRICE FOR LOCAL CLIENTS.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL ADVERTS ARE OF THE ACTUAL TIMEPIECE FOR SALE. WHEN THE WATCH IS PURCHASED THE ADVERT WILL BE REMOVED. THANK YOU.
